Club Social – Supper & Talk

Please join us for our latest club social evening on Wednesday 26th February, 7 for 7.30 pm at the Ridgeway, Smallridge.

A two course supper will be enjoyed first, followed by the talk, ‘The British Equestrian Federation’ (BEF), what it is, and what it does’ with previous BEF Chair Malcolm Wharton.

Malcolm has spent his working life in agriculture, equestrianism and land based education, including 22 years as Principal of Hartpury College.  He has extensive experience in equestrian sports, directing major equestrian events including World and European Championships. He chaired the BEF from 2019 to  2014, and will talk about the role of the BEF, including the World Class Performance Programme which prepares and manages Team GB at Olympic, World and European Championships.  There are 19 independent member bodies of the BEF, and the British Horse Society (which encompasses British Riding Clubs) is one of those.

Come along for what should be an interesting and informative talk, enjoy a great supper and catch up with some friends.
