Club Ride to Dalwood

AROUND 18 members and their horses joined a fabulous Lamberts Castle Riding Club ride on Wednesday, July 14th.

Taking in many bridleways through Dalwood and Membury — and barely meeting any cars — the riders thoroughly enjoyed a long hack with chances to canter through some fields and tracks.

Cooling off in the river at Dalwood was welcome to the equines and a wonderful lunch, provided by the Tuckers Arms, was enjoyed by the riders.

Thanks go to Fiona Benger for leading the ride and to Tracey and Craig McGowan and Team Tuckers for a delicious lunch, which included chef Craig’s famous sausage rolls.
